Don't ever ask for Pineapple

 I asked Blair to cut the pineapple open so we could have it for dinner.  We have this neat little pineapple cutter that you twist and push and it cuts the pineapple from the outside (what do you call the outside of a pineapple- skin- armor?) and slices it.  This was not enough for sweet Blair- he got the drill, tried to hook the pineapple cutter to the drill so all he had to do was push a button.  Needless to say, our pineapple was mush, and the drill was covered in sticky juice- oh yea- and dinner was over by the time he got it cut!

Blair Flips

This weekend Blair learned how to flip on the wakeboard.  He tried over and over again- and had no competition since Alex had gotten a concussion the weekend before and wasn't allowed to do anything.  He almost landed it, but landed all bent over and popped himself in the eye...

Alex's spring concert

Alex was the solo bassoonist at the spring concert at school. He gave up the sax to play the bassoon- and did a fine job.

I had unpacked boxes all day and had a pile of paper. When Alex came home from school, he filled the elevator with paper before taking it to the dumpster.

Blair

Blair, David and I got on the elevator in our new house. As a joke, I said " Ladies lingerie." Blair said, "Whatever, as long as we aren't' going to ladies underwear."!
I love it.

Auburn Fan

It was spirit day at school and Blair painted himself orange and blue to support his favorite team. When I picked him up at the end of the day, the blue had changed to green and he just looked sick!

Blair made me a cake! He is still learning the fine art of cooling a cake before getting it out of the pan, but he got to eat the crumbs! He sweetly made me a chocolate and vanilla cake! It ain't pretty, but it tasted great.

Every redneck's dream

Here is how I spent my Sunday afternoon. I took Blair dove hunting. We didn't kill any birds, but we took a few shots. It was fun- but don't tell him I said that. (I might have to go again)




The gun fell apart in Boo hand! Alex was throwing skeet for us.

I asked Alex to cut the grass for me. He was not happy about having to do it, so I thought I better check on him to make sure he was doing a good job. He was... Alex in his creative, cleverness cut a checkerboard pattern in the front yard! I liked it so much- we just left it.
